Utilizing long-range LoRa technology, the system ensures reliable connectivity even where Wi-Fi signals are weak, offering coverage up to a quarter-mile in open air. Users receive real-time alerts via app notifications, email, and SMS/text, with the ability to name each sensor based on its location. The Leak Sensor 1 operates independently of the internet by using YoLink Control-D2D technology, allowing sensors to directly activate YoLink sirens or shutoff valves for immediate local protection during outages.
